Hi everybody!!

BloominPageCL
Are we excited about the weekend or what??  I am looking forward to some nice weather.. it's been pretty icky lately, but now I want sunshine!!

...and speaking of sunshine, look at what I made with the YUMMY sticker sheet from my Garden Party Project Pantry kit:

isn't it cuuute??  I was completely inspired to do this layout (okay, I pretty much CASED it!) from a Kaiserkraft ad in my Scrapbook Trends magazine, and I found just the PERFECT "ingredients" in my Garden Party Blooms set, along with these cute stickers included in my Pantry Kit!

All of the patterned papers I used are from the Garden Party Project Pantry Kit, and as you can see, I used only small squares to build my background, so it's a great way to use up those scraps!!

To make my grass, I used my trusty swivel knife (just some random cuts so that it looks uneven), then adhered the strips to my page using foam squares. I used about a hundred of them because they are literally stuck under everything on this page!  I {heart} my foam squares - I just love all the dimension they give to everything!!

I finished up my page by adding my sentiment (which I happen to looove) and also a little mushroom and my butterflies from my Blooms set.  I then borrowed my "butterfly trails" from my Garden Party Critters set to stamp onto my page, and voila!  so colorful, and perfect for summer!!

I hope you're inspired to use up your "stamping" stuff by adding it to your scrapbooking - It's a great way to use the goodies you love while preserving some of your favorite moments!  I love that my new stamps are the perfect size to add to my layouts, and of course, these wonderful papers are perfect for the upcoming sunny weather!

Thanks so much for stopping by today, and have a wonderful Friday!

Alex
