I'm so excited about this week's challenge from My Favorite Things!  This is of course, the perfect time for all of us to share what we're most thankful for, and to share the fun projects we've created especially for this Thanksgiving Holiday so that's what this week's challenge is all about!!  Easy right??

All you have to do is create a card or project that showcases what you're most thankful for, and/or share your handcrafted Thanksgivng table decorations, or favors!  It's an easy and fun challenge so I hope you play along! Don't forget you can win $15.00 in MFT big bucks to spend on some goodies! Please upload your creation to SCS using keyword MFTWSC11242010 for a chance to win!!

I decided to make some little teacher gifts that can certainly double as place settings or table decorations!

Isn't this delish?? I was so happy with the way they turned out and they were super easy and quick to make!!

I started out by cutting a 2 1/2" band of Kraft CS, and I distressed it up a bit around the edges & inked it all up so it was nice and grungy (my favorite of course!!)  I stamped and cut out my Grateful Sentiment using my Die-namics Framed Greetings Die and Stamp Set, which is just perfect for a simple project like this!!  I then cut out my tree and leaves using my Die-namics Sheltering Tree & Leaf Trio, and added them all over to embellish my band!  I sponged my tree and leaves using VIntage Photo Distress Ink, and gave my leaves some dimension by folding them using my bone folder.  I finished up my candle by adding a couple of cinnamon sticks and a bit of linen twine and voila!  Easy and so cute (all mosdesty aside of course!!)

I am so looking forward to seeing your creations, so I hope you play along with us this week!!  Please head on over to Kim's Blog any time after 11:00AM EST to check out the fabulous and inspiring creations from the rest of the MFT Challenge Team!

Thanks for stopping by!!
