Puppy couture at it's finest!
I just wanted to share this card I made for a single-layer card challenge for MFT. I just looove MFT - have you seen their new releases?? (OMG!! That MAID!!) I could just about die - but instead I'm going to make lots & lots of raunchy maid cards 'cause I got my new set in the mail today!! YAY!!!
I'm in heaven with my new stamps, but for this card I decided to use the "Let's go for a Walk" stamp set, which I hadn't inked up in ages.. aren't these puppies cute??? I just thought they would be perfect for a single layer card since I could just go ahead and draw a "scene" to take up the space I would normally pile 100 layers of paper on!! (lol..) So, after playing around for a while, this is what I came up with:
I stamped my image on watercolor paper and then just drew in my scene around it! I decided to use watercolors instead of my Copics since I really like the "watery-smooshy" look on single-layer cards.. Lots of fun, I have to admit!
I hope you're getting lots of stamping done this weekend, and perhaps even doing some challenges too...SUCH as mine on PCP..???
Thanks for stopping by!
Alex
