Brighten Up!

Hello honeybunnies!

boy I am in some dire need of a pick me up so I made this happy & bright card to lift my spirits!!

I am just draggin' these days Smiley from millan.netand my mojo has apparently been hanging out over at someone else's house, 'cause I just can't get it going!!    well, that is until I whipped out my Weigh to Go! stamp set, and paired it with my That 70s Project Pantry Kit, and well, I cheered myself right up with these bright and happy colors!!

eeek!! do you just love these fun patterns??  I feel like a little kid when I play with these bright colors, and that is a good thing!

I went back and used Taylor's sketch challenge TESC120 from last week for my layout, and I just thought it was absolutely perfect for this mix of patterned papers!  I colored my little telephone using Copics, and I used my circle, and scalloped nesties to cut out my image panel and mat.  I added my little flower "bling" using glue dots.

Oh and yeah, those adorable sparkly flowers are also included in the That 70s
Project Pantry Kit
, and there's a bunch in different colors!! LOVE 'em!!

I'm definitely feeling much better after playing with my yummy stamps, so I'm off to do some more stamping!!!

Hope you're having a yummy & bright day!

  1. Oh this is a FUN and CHEERY card. Love it!

  2. This is super cute, Alex! Sure to cheer anybody up! Love how you used the mylar flowers in the kit...aren't those fun!?

  3. Enough to cheer anybody up :) Lovely use of colour.

  4. I love this bright happy card! It's funny because I have that phone stamped and sitting on my table ready to color - but then I ran out of mojo and walked away - that was a few days ago. I still want to make a card with that phone. Love yours!

I so appreciate your comments! Happy Scrapping! :)
