TE June Release Day!

YAY!! It's official - June release day is here!!Smiley from millan.net

If you've spent the past few days with us, looking at all the fabulous new offerings coming to the TE store, you can now happily shop at your hearts content HERE.

...and guess what?? there is MORE eye candy for you today!!  I am especially excited because I get to show you a couple of cards I made using 3 sets that I haven't yet shared with you! whoo-hoo!!  So enough chit-chat, let me get right to it!

Making Sympathy cards is not and easy task for anyone, however I think the task is made much more bearable when you are able to express your feelings and support in a simple and elegant way.

Care & Comfort is just the stamp set you need for conveying your thoughts during those difficult times.   The sentiments are simple, beautiful and are sure to express your feelings perfectly.

I wanted to keep my card almost monochromatic and used cream, sand, and buttercup yellow tones. I added a little pale pink to my sentiment panel using the dragonfly stamp from the new Summer Afternoon stamp set. This sentiment from Care & Comfort is absolutely beautiful, and I decided to pair it up with my Miniature Motifs stamp set, which I used to stamp a background accent panel for my card.

Embellishing my card was a breeze with this gorgeous Prima Fairytale Rose, and this delicate Ruffled Trim.  I added a few accent Clear Rhinestones to finish it all up.  I love this card, and while we don't like when anyone is faced with a trying time, I think this stamp set will allow you to make cards that will be treasured and greatly appreciated.

Now, here's a peek at more of the lovely images contained in the Summer
stamp set.

This stamp set is truly versatile - you can go from fun to elegant to everything in between!  I decided to go with a bit of a "mod" color scheme, with a little splash of color for some fun!

The stamps in this set don't need much to make them look absolutely charming! I stamped my flowers using pretty sunflower ink, and added some distressing using Vintage Photo distress ink.  I cut my panels using my Labels 9 Nestabilities dies.  I added some distressing to my die-cut flower paper that I'd been saving for just the perfect moment and this was it!  Don't you just love it?  I thought this was a nice mix of colors and textures, and the stamps make it so easy to make gorgeous cards! I am sure you'll fall in love with the versatility in this set!

Next, you can find me Hangin' Out at the Beach!

I totally flipped when I saw this gorgeous new stamp set from the Whimsical Wishes line.  Again, the options are absolutely endless for all of your summer projects!  I made this bright and sparkly card to show you some of the fun images included in this set, which by the way, coordinates with our original Hangin' Out set!!! How fun is that??!!

I used these very hip and sunny colors from the Basic Grey Green at Heart collection, and added a bit more girly touches with these colorful Rhinestones.  I just love the little extra flair they add!

I colored my images using Copic Markers and double-layered my palm Tree leaves for extra dimension.  I also did some paper-piecing on my surfboard and added some yummy Fruit Punch Stickles to the center of the surfboard, and some Lime Green to the tree top!  Absolutely glitzy and girly!! I just LOVE this set, and I am sure you will too!!

I hope you've liked my little review through these sets!  There have been a slew of dazzling projects shared by the Baker's Dozen, and I hope you enjoyed it!  I know I speak for everyone when I say WE love the gorgeous assortment of new Stamps and Products at the TE Store, and creating these projects is just so fun!  I LOVE sharing with you all and I hope you've enjoyed this countdown to Release Day!
