Swimming in Style!

Hiya Sugarbunnies!!

Did’ya miss me??Smiley from millan.net I have totally missed sharing fun stuff the past few days, unfortunately my little one has been sick, and pairing that up along with the end of the school year - life has been really hectic! Very little playtime for me, that’s for sure!

In between cooling little foreheads though, I was able to sneak in a little teeny-bikini action!

I am sooo loving this Hangin’ Out at the Beach stamp set, though I warn you, it’s highly addictive!! (Especially once that song gets stuck in your head! lol..)

So I wanted to make a fun and beachy card using not so typically "summer" colors, so I decided to use the patterned paper and cardstock from my Pet’s Place Project Pantry Kit. I just love how the gorgeous patterned paper in this kit can be so perfect for a fashionable & trendy summer card!

Don't you just want to wear this adorable bikini or what?? Well, I would looove to wear it but I think I’d scar my neighbors for life if I did that, so I’m going to stick to using it on my cards!! lol.. Smiley from millan.net

I stamped my bikini using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and I also stamped a second layer onto patterned paper so that I could “double” it up using foam squares. To make my card layout I used Sketch Challenge SC286, and I added some white gel pen dots and some paper-piercing just to "brighten up" the background, and my image panel a bit.

To finish up my card I added this yummy & so deliciously bright Orange Crush Silk Ribbon. OH MY GAWD..This ribbon is absolutely glorious – you have to just touch it, trust me the picture does not do it justice, and I for one, am thrilled that the TE store has it in several yummy colors, and you'll be happy to know they are ALL making their merry way to me shortly. If you’re a ribbon “Connoisseur” like moi, you know that great ribbon makes a girl happy just by looking at it – what can I tell ya, it’s a sickness!

Anyhoo, I hope you play around with all your different patterns and colors! Don’t be afraid to try new combos, and mixing and matching your Project Pantry Kits is loads of fun! (The best part is, you'll use your goodies!!) Remember, there’s always more new yummy stuff to play with!Smiley from millan.net

Thanks for stopping by today, and have a fabulous day!!

Squooshie Hugs!!
