Disco turtle love!

Hi Sugarbunnies!!

I hope you're in the mood for some more funk!! Truth be told I am SOO in need of some brightening up!  It feels like it hasn't stopped raining in my neck of the woods FORever, and I am sooo over it!!  I need some major color in my life right about now, and so here I am today sharing a little turtle lovin' with you!

I used my February Key Ingredients to make this card! Can you believe these adorable embellishments are also part of the kit?  I am SO loving the polka dot buttons and the flower - they're just so cool!  Can you believe how bright is this??  talk about pure funk Smiley from millan.net...Oh yeah!!  I am also loving my little single turtle there!  Originally she is one half of the new Turtles in Love stamp, but I decided to mask off her other half, and use her as a single image! Isn't that cool?  I figured this way I get a bit more versatility from my stamps! easy!!  I colored her in with Copics, and her shell is double mounted onto my image using dimensionals.  I also colored in her the heart and added a little bit of stickles for some bling!  The sentiment is from my Love Everywhere set, and I think it just fit perfectly with this little turtle - don't you just love when that happens??!! sheer happiness I tell you!

You know what else made my day??  I am SO not the brightest apple in the bunch I swear - can you believe I just came across this super-awesome "sketchbook" that Taylor has available for download on her blog - in it she has the 100 sketches from her weekly TE challenge - SO Cool!!  What a gorgeous source of inspiration, you must grab your copy, if you haven't already!!  (you can find the cute little download button right below her cute (okay gorgeous!!) little picture!)

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a bright and shiny day!!
