Happy Hump Day!

I'm so excited to share these next cards with you!!  Today I get to show off my first cards using the incredibly adorable Tree-Mendous set from Our Craft Lounge.  In case you haven't heard Our Craft Lounge is a brand-new company launched by 3 incredible artists.  Cambria Turnbow, Joy Kennedy and Marianne Walker.   You can read the cutest story on how this company came to be right here

Anyhoo, I was incredibly honored to be able to peek at their sets just before their launch, and of course, I was immediately hooked!!  They already offer a great selection of sets, purrrfect for every occasion - and the coolest thing??...

OurCraftLounge has sets available in regular yummy rubbah and clear stamps too, so everybody is happy!! YAY!! Clap

I have spent all last week stalking the mailman waiting for my new toys and I was finally put out of my misery yesterday!

My biggest struggle was deciding which set to use first!! Anyway, without rambling on any further here's what I came up with today:

HappyTreeCL

Happy & Lovely Day!

HappyTree

I colored the tree on this card using Copic markers and I added some airbrushing on the ground and the "leaves".

I just grabbed a bunch of different colors for the hearts and added some sponging around the edges using ranger vintage photo distress ink. I'm not sure that you can see it in the picture, but I embossed the pink mat using the Happy Birthday cuttlebug embossing folder, and then punched the edge with the Fiskars treading water punch.

The flowers are Primas, and all cardstock is from Stampin' Up!.

Now.. last for today but certainly not least is this stinking cute Giraffe from the same set!

Sweet Baby Boy

If you can find anything cuter than this giraffe I will eat my hat! OMG!! As soon as I saw this I knew it would be perfect for a baby card - of course, it helps that there's a baby sentiment included in the set too!   I made this card in less than 10 minutes!! I think this would be great to have on hand for those last-minute gifts (easy to mass-produce) and of course you can modify it to use for baby announcements, invitations etc.!  The possibilities are endless I tell you!!

SweetBabyBoy

I used all shimmer cardstocks for this card and the large regular and scalloped oval nestabilities for the mats.  The ribbon is from my prized stash of retired sheer organdy from SU! (sniff..) and of course, you can substitute the colors for a girl, or make it gender-neutral!

Easy, simple and just so cute!

Be sure to stop by OCL and check out their yummy stamps!

I'm having so much fun trying out my new sets, so I'll be sharing lots more fun stuff using those too so be sure to check back soon!

Thanks for stopping by!

Hugs,
