Time to Sparkle & Shine!

It's sneak peak time chez moi!!

SparkleGiftSetCl

I am so excited to share my very own Holiday Gift ensemble featuring two of the gorgeous new stamp sets Clear Dollar Stamps is releasing on Monday December 1st.

This will be a looong post so please bear with me, but I promise -  it's well worth it!  I think this is fantastic way to create beautiful (and quick!) gifts for everyone on your list!

I used the Ornament String, and Ornament Accents stamps to create this entire gift ensemble:

SparkleGiftSet

Isn't it fun??  I  loved how easy it was to create all the different components using the same materials and colors throughout(don't you just love when every last piece of paper, ribbon and every accessory gets used up??) lol, I know I do!!  I also got to play with quite a few of my favorite tools which is always a huge plus!!

So here is what my Sparkle & Shine gift set consists of:

First up is a little altered memo book - just perfect for jotting down notes, making shopping lists, or journaling your favorite holiday memories.

HolidayJournal

I altered this little notebook with just a small piece of cardstock which was embossed with my dots CB embossing folder.  This was a fun find at the Michaels dollar spot, and as you can see - even the pen was a perfect match!

Next, is the stamped candle which was just so fun to make:

Candle

If you haven't already tried making a stamped candle, you must! You can make these so quickly and the candles alone would make a great gift!  You can find a great tutorial on stamping on candles here.

I also made a fun CD Case. I personally think this is SOO incredibly cool!  You can put together your favorite Holiday music and share it with your loved ones!  (I got all my Elvis' Christmas tunes ready to roll! lol..) Of course, you can also make a nice compilation of your favorite family photos and send them off to grandma & grandpa!  Not a dry eye in the house, I promise! (in a good way, of course :)

CDHolder

I added a little Tiny Treat Basket because NO gift is complete without chocolate as far as I'm concerned!  This holds 3 little peppermint patties quite nicely!  I used a scallop and a circle punch to make the little patty covers. Very easy and so cute!

CandyBasket

I also added a small little tag - super simple and just a cute little accent to wrap up the package.

My set also includes a matching set of wine charms!  I have to admit I had some help - I asked my very talented jewelry-making mommy to make me the beaded rings and I made my stamped charms using shrink film.  Pretty neat, I think!

CharmCl

Finally, I made a small 4 1/4" square card to complete my set! Using the same general layouts throughout made completing this so easy and makes gift-giving a snap!

Card

During this busy time it's such a treat to be able to complete a great gift in just a short while.  The best part is you will not have to break the bank to do so!

I MUST mention that you can WIN these stamp sets (along with the entire collection of stamps being released on December 1st, just by entering a comment on this post in Lori's blog.  YUP!! she's giving away an AMAZING collection worth almost $100.00!!! Contest ends Monday, so be sure to get your entry in!!

Also, don't miss the fantastic peeks the incredibly talented ladies of the CDS Design Team are sharing on their blogs!! You can also find them all listed on my sidebar.  You will be so inspired to make the perfect gift sets for your loved ones, I promise!!

I have done some composition books before, but never any with the pen holder on the side. Could you share your idea/instuctions.
