Blog Party - Day Two Challenge!!

Time to SHAKE your booty people!! Is that Ricky Martin I hear calling my name?? (don't I wish!!)

Well, Ricky or not, I thought now would be a great time to "shake" up this party! We are making Shaker boxes for our cards, tags, scrapbook pages or anything else your little heart desires!

Shaker boxes are very simple to make, and you can make them in any shape or any size! Here's a very brief set of instructions, should anybody need them!!

1. Cut out 2 pieces of paper/cardstock into desired shape
2. Cut window opening on ONE of your selected pieces. Leave the second piece intact as that will be your "cover"
3. Cover window opening with transparency/window sheet.
4. Apply mounting tape to the back of your shape opening - apply tape to the entire frame of your window - this is not the time to be frugal, ''cause your goodies will come pouring out! (TRUST me, I KNOW.. lo..)
5. Fill window sheet with your confetti, glitter, flowers, buttons, etc..)
6. Adhere background on top of your window piece to "close up the "sandwich" and voila!!

See how easy it is?? Feel free to get creative in case you are missing some supplies - you can turn the challenge into anything featuring "windows", "Openings", "boxes" etc..
Everyone can play along!

Bonus points if you use a QKD stamp set to decorate your card/page/shaker box!

I used my Love Letters Stamp set for my sample - I stamped the transparency prior to adhering it to the window and then colored the heart in with a sharpie! super easy and fun!!

Now you try it!! Extra props if you make a valentine's day card and/or if you use the color theme shown: Hot Pink, Pink, Red, White.

You will absolutely have a blast! Shake away and keep those projects coming!!
